Sensory Workshops

With the support of our funders we now run Sensory walks and follow these up with Sensory Workshops.

The walks take the Group to local sites of interest such as Epping Forest, Waltham Abbey Church and gardens, Greensted Church, The White Water Centre and the Lea Valley.

During the walks the group uses cameras and video to record their experiences and talks are given by local experts.  The Workshops are about the experiences and feelings gained from the walks.  Drawings, paintings, photography, artwork, video and clay modelling along with other media are used to create material for an exhibition to show the public the achievements and work that the Sunflower Group have made over the year.
